JJ Jones

JJ Jones is redefining what a step dad is. He parents the New England way, through sarcasm and threats. He has refreshingly honest and witty observations about raising kids. His comedy pulls laughs from the chaos of club sports, Fortnite battles, and the ever changing slang that his kids use. He was raised by a British father and a Massachusetts mother in the suburbs of Boston.  This upbringing helped to frame his dry humor and offbeat perspective.  

He started standup comedy in a heavy metal bar in Denver and has since taken his comedy across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., performing in clubs, colleges, theaters, and breweries. 

He has shared the stage with headliners including Ben Bailey, Todd Barry, Robert Kelly, Jaime Lee & Kevin Pollack, among others.
